In this body of work, by employing humble, nearly obsolete materials and means, I examine the impermanence and temporal nature of our society paced by technological advances resulting in the disconnection of people and the ensuing loneliness of modern urban life.
The repetitive act of crocheting provides symmetry and order to the chaotic state of modern life and a sense of stillness amidst the disorder.
